Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is een Netflix Original comedy series die op 6 Maart j.l. online werd gezet. S1 met 13 afleveringen zou aanvankelijk op NBC te zien zijn maar werd voor 2 seizoenen aan Netflix overgedaan. Zeer goed ontvangen!

Kimmy Schmidt heeft 15 jaar lang ondergronds geleefd bij een "Doomsday"cult in Indiana. Op een dag wordt ze gered en besluit een nieuw leven in N.Y. te beginnen. Elli Kemper bekend van "The Office"  kruipt in de huid van Kimmy Schmidt.
