Chloe King is a teenager who discovers she has special cat-like powers following her death, including nine lives, superhuman speed, strength, hearing, agility, and the ability to climb objects by extending her nails like cat claws. When she realizes a mysterious figure is shadowing her, she goes on to uncover that she is a descendant of an ancient race. She learns she may be the key to protecting the race from human assassins who have hunted them for thousands of years.
