Meanwhile, hoping to gain Becca's trust and keep the secret safe from Marigold (Amara Miller) and Xander (Benjamin Stockham), Emily (Jenna Elfman) gets tangled in a web of lies. (from NBC's press release, November 2012) NBC's "The Voice" will decisively declare a winner when the intense vocal competition series concludes its third season with a live two-hour finale on Tuesday, December 18 (9-11 p.m. ET). The finale also will be preceded with a live, 90-minute final performance episode of "The Voice" on Monday, December 17 (8-9:30 p.m.ET) -- which will be followed by a sneak preview of NBC's new comedy series "1600 Penn" (9:30-10 p.m. ET). "1600 Penn" stars Bill Pullman ("Independence Day"), Jenna Elfman ("Dharma and Greg") and Josh Gad (Broadway's "The Book of Mormon") - and concerns a typical American family who just happen to live in the White House. The series will premiere in its regular day and time on Thursday, January 10 (9:30-10 p.m. ET). In "1600 Penn," the Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues - like a grown kid who's forced to move back home, children who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Elfman) desperately trying to win over the kids. They're loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everybody else. With one exception: they live in a very special house. The White House!
