Post Description

Nature Documentary hosted by Jeremy Northam and published by BBC broadcasted as part of BBC Natural World series in 2005 - English narration

Documentary that looks at how the wildlife of Australia has adapted from living in lush rainforest 20 million years ago to what is now the world's hottest, driest continent. Red kangaroos must keep on the move, frogs lie dormant for seven years, koalas sleep twenty hours a day, crocodiles can go for two years without food, and Aborigines pass on their secrets of survival by storytelling. Natural World is the BBC Natural History Unit's longest running series.

It is internationally renowned for bringing exotic wildlife, stunning scenery and breathtaking insights into the world we share. Originally named The World About Us in 1967, the series featured stories from across the globe. The Natural World series was created in 1983 to serve as a platform for in-depth and inspiring films from the world's wildest places.
