Post Description
It could be said that musician Prince needs no introduction—for a few years during the ‘90s, he didn't even need a name. The Minneapolis native broke through when his self-titled second album went platinum in 1979. Prince's mix of rock, funk, and soul made him an immediate sensation. He even starred in and recorded the mega-hit soundtrack for the 1984 film Purple Rain, adding movie star to his list of credits. His catchy melodies have been recorded by everyone from Sinead O'Connor to The Bangles.
