When BMG released the "Elvis: '68 Comeback Special Deluxe Edition" DVD box set in 2004,
fans were treated to practically everything filmed for Elvis's 1968 NBC-TV special.
In fact the majority of the set featured the individual segments in their raw, unedited forms.
It was wonderful to see and hear, but in this world of remixes (think JXL) and mash-ups
(think Viva Elvis) why not re-imagine the 68 Comeback using these raw elements? If we don't,
you know somebody will... and since Pseudopod has already righted a wrong (the poorly compiled
and edited "Elvis: '68 Comeback Special Edition" DVD) with the "Elvis - The Definitive
NBC-TV Special" DVD, why not give it a shot!
