Post Description
Alternative, folk rock.
“As usual, yall got me all kinds of f*cked up. Absolutely phenomenal. I feel like this is an excellent example of how progress isn't linear. The ending of Routine Maintenance compared to the begining of In Lieu Of Flowers really shows that making a good turn in your life doesn't make you immune to crashing out again. What a wild ride. What a fantastic ending(?) to Aaron's story. Favorite track: Paying Bills At The End Of The World.”
“Magnificent storytelling. Immediately bought the two previous records.”
“Man that horn hook on the title track is tremendous! Feel like running a marathon when it kicks in. Paradoxically the mood on that song and the rest of the LP is typically sad, introspective and remorseful. This is Aaron at his worst - hurting people close to him, self-medicating with copious amounts of alcohol, being absent from family and ruining opportunities for his fledgling band. Although there is a light in the dark and hope for Aaron to do the work, fix his life and find genuine peace.”
