Buck Owens - 1965 - Before You Go




When it comes to Buck Owens' mid-'60s Capitol LPs, there really isn't much to choose between. If you like his Bakersfield sound, you'll like all of them; if you're trying to zero in on just one or two collections, you'd be better off with greatest-hits surveys because the individual albums sound rather interchangeable to the nonenthusiast. This has the usual competent original material and accomplished guitar picking, paced by the number one title track, with occasional instrumentals thrown in for a change of pace.
