After a first attempt with his band "Freckle Face" in 1972, Arno Hintjens and Paul Decoutere started Tjens Couter (made up out both of their names). The band deserves an important place in Belgian music because it was the direct predecessor to T.C. Matic. They released their first single "Saturday Night Queen" in 1975. In 1977 Ferre Baelen and Rudy Cloet joined the band and the name was changed to Tjens Couter and the TC Band.  (discogs)
