Description :
This DTS-CD is converted using the newest methods available today.
Dolby Prologic II x/z is a proven technology and therefore also standard on most Home Theatre Systems.
There are however two advantages with upmixes like these.
1) The different levels (Front,Center,Rear) are corrected in a way that the surround experience will be optimized.
2) The reference software decoding will have a maximum quality.
Some DSP's in (cheaper) HTS are simply not that good.

Dolby Prologic will sound very natural and clear as the original Stereo CD.
No addition (personal) enhancements, boosting or delays are applied.

Some people still prefer the "old school" methods from 1970-1975 like QS (QS-XT) and Ambisonic (WAD225).
Plogue is quite a complex tool and there are often 100 ways to adjust the sound.
This is always based on personal hearing experiences and therefore a lot of spread can be heart between different upmixers.
Quite often the sound is really bad because some wrong settings are being used.

Personally I believe the New-Style DPL II methods out performs the plogue methods by far.
The fun part is... It is as "Easy as Dell" with only 3 adjustments to use.
These adjustments will only be used to balance the sound to achief a maximum surround experience.
Just listen, compare, enjoy and above all have funnnnnn with all the DTS-CD's to come !
