Post Description
Perhaps one of the great mysteries of New Age music is just how composer Medwyn Goodall manages to put out as many albums as he does. Between 1995 and 1997 alone, he recorded 21, not including CDs recorded under an alias, or songs released on compilations. The British musician has varied tastes, displayed on his Druid Trilogy series--DRUID, MERLIN, EXCALIBUR--as well as his many pagan and Native American productions. On MEDICINE WOMAN, Goodall celebrates the power of the Feminine, employing traditional South American instruments and nature sounds along with light synthesizers. The album is reminiscent of the South American-influenced duo Cusco, but Goodall's soundscapes are more relaxed and soothing. Arranger: Medwyn Goodall.
