Post Description
On the 28th of November 1979, Air New Zealand flight 901, a DC-10 registered ZK NZP, crashed into Mt Erebus on Ross Island, Antarctica, instantly killing all 257 people on board. Whilst that brutal event sparked worldwide interest in the Erebus story, it represented neither the beginning nor the end of a complicated and compelling tale.
Erebus tells the emotional and compelling true story of four police officers who went to Antarctica to recover the victims of the 1979 Air New Zealand crash that killed all 257 passengers.
