The acclaimed Persona 3 moves from the PlayStation 2 to the PSP in this enhanced remake courtesy of Atlus U.S.A. The most notable new feature is the inclusion of a female protagonist, as you can now decide which gender to play from the start. Female characters will have new social links, romantic possibilities, and special events as they progress through the game. Your high school character can also choose from a variety of part-time jobs to earn some extra spending money. A more streamlined interface allows for faster equipment changes, simpler navigation in menus, and various other tweaks. Other notable changes include a choice of five difficulty settings, collectible skill cards, and the ability to directly control your party members in battle. The game otherwise follows the same narrative and play mechanics as the original Persona 3, which offered more than 100 hours of content.
