Post Description
Review:
after the first listening in my home i was
really surprised.
1.
sonically the recording is excellent, every
instrument is its on place, the nuances can
clearly be heard, the quality of stereo sonics
is high and it really deserves five points. however
my system is stereo only and i can say nothing
about multichannel sonics.
2.
before proceeding i would like to emphasize
that i usually listen to classical music and
jazz (in a proportion 55-60% to 40-45%) and
prefer these genres to the others.
the music of "five elements" reminds me of a
classical jazz recording "forest flower" by
charles lloyd at monterey. reminds me means
that i have similar feelings when i listen
to these recordings.
mathias frey recording is unusually lyrical
and provides a joyous atmosphere which embraces
you and you really feel that the five elements
(fire, water, earth, metal and wood) appear
one by one in your listening room. it is
unbelievable how you are made to feel them
to be there.
highly recommended.
