Blitz Street is a documentary series which takes a look at what life was like living in the United Kingdom during the Blitz in the second world war. A special terrace of houses have been built on a remote military base and are subjected to a barrage of high explosive bombs and incendiaries, similar to those dropped by the Luftwaffe during the war. The series is presented by Tony Robinson. 

Blitz Street endures the most powerful bomb of World War II: the massive V2 rocket. The programme also examines why the blitz failed and the lessons learnt from the experiment.
