Jeff and Amy decide to change their lives, to give it all up and move to California. But their car breaks down in the middle of the desert. Luckily a truck driver offers to take Amy to the nearest restaurant to call for help. Finally managing to find the problem with the car, Jeff decides to go and fetch his wife from a bar in the middle of nowhere. But no-one seems to have seen Amy nor the mysterious truck... Directed by Jonathan Mostow (U-571), this action-packed film will take your breath away. Kurt Russell (Big Trouble In Little China, Vanilla Sky) gives an energetic performance next to Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13, Independence Day). This oppressive thriller will keep you in suspense till the very end.

Jeff en Amy Taylor verhuizen naar Californië, en moeten een rit maken door het land. Wanneer ze in het midden van een woestijn stranden komt hun rit plotseling tot een stop. Amy krijgt een rit van een trucker om bij een restaurant te kunnen bellen, maar als ze na een lange tijd nog niet terug is raakt Jeff ongerust. Later blijkt dat niemand in het restaurant zijn vrouw gezien heeft. Hij moet er nu alles aan doen om zijn vrouw terug te vinden.
