Post Description

ClearOS (formerly named ClarkConnect) is a Linux distribution designed for use in small and medium enterprises as a network gateway and network server with a web-based administration interface[3]. It is designed to be a Free Software alternative to Windows SBS[4]. ClearOS was spun off in 2009 from ClarkConnect by a team at ClearFoundation[5]. ClearOS 5.1 has previous limitations to mail, DMZ, and MultiWAN functions removed[6].

Features include:
Stateful Firewall (iptables), Networking and Security
Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (SN ORT)
Virtual Private Networking (P PTP, IP Sec, Open VPN)
Web Proxy, with Content Filtering and Antivirus (Squid, DansGuardian)
E-mail Services (Webmail, Postfix, SM TP, POP3/s, IMAP/s)
Groupware (Kolab)
Database and Web Server (easy to deploy LAMP stack)
File and Print Services (Samba and CUPS)
Flexshares (unified multi-protocol storage which currently employs CI FS, HT TP/S, FT P/S, and SM TP)
MultiWAN (Internet fault tolerant design)
Builtin Reports for system statistics and services (MRTG and others)

Ikzelf vind dit een zeer sterke oplossing wat mijn verwachtingen heeft overtroffen. Daarom wilde ik het met jullie delen en dit onder de aandacht brengen.
