Post Description
With influences ranging from Yes and Gentle Giant, to Focus, The Moody blues, and
even a touch of King Crimson among others, this CD reissue of the original 1974 LP from
Banzai (Belgium) is a classic prog lover's dream. The cover photo depicts the band
decked-out in garish make-up and outlandish costumes fit for a circus-of-the-weird, but
the music is well-conceived, professionally executed, and melodically clever. With 6 bonus
tracks culled from singles, the band shows they can also deliver shorter tracks with a punch
(with four of the five original album's tracks ranging 7 to 12 minutes). For listeners who are
hungry for those great lost progressive gems with all the right reference points and
touchstones, this is a good place to rest your weary ears.
