The Germans after the invasion in Greece, and despite assurances that they will not allow the entry of Bulgarian troops in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Bulgarians and deliver to the guerillas (komitadjis). The Bulgarians are starting again to terrorism and violence against the Greek population. While this happens a Greek officer from the region of Eastern Macedonia, Nikos Devetzis (Giannis Voglis) with his friend, Vasilis Anthimos (Petros Fyssoun), decide to return to their village which is under the ownership group led by guerilla Stepan Rajko (Lakis Komninos) and start the Resistance against the Bulgarian
