In a refreshing contrast to his regular practice of devoting entire albums to the myths and culture of a single country, David Arkenstone zigzags through a whole host of lands and eras on 1990's CITIZEN OF TIME. "Top of the World" finds him atop Mt Citizen Of Time music CDs. Everest, pondering its majesty and height, while "The Malabar Caves" is a compelling contemplation of India's mystic energies Citizen Of Time songs. Both a journey through world music and an exploration of Arkenstone's fertile imagination and musical interpretive talents, CITIZEN OF TIME is a must for aficionados of this prolific New Age composer.
