Synopsis:

Killer K is a 2011 action mini-series from South Korea that is like no other South Korean TV series that I've seen (and I've seen plenty). Never before have I seen the graphic violence and nudity that is prevalent here, which makes this show a much more raw experience. Korean shows, or at least the ones that make it to North America in some form, have always been dramas or action series that refrained from being this brazen. So unfortunately if this is a turn off, Killer K will not be for you. Instead, if you like movies such as The Man From Nowhere, then this mini-series is something to recommend.

Cha Yeon Jin is a high school girl whose outwardly normal existence and reticent character masks her true identity: she is a professional assassin who is seeking vengeance for her mother after watching her killed in front of her eyes. She infiltrates SS1, the secret organization that her mother was connected to, by becoming one of their killers, all the while trying to track down her mother’s murderer.
