Blitz Street is a documentary series which takes a look at what life was like living in the United Kingdom during the Blitz in the second world war. A special terrace of houses have been built on a remote military base and are subjected to a barrage of high explosive bombs and incendiaries, similar to those dropped by the Luftwaffe during the war. The series is presented by Tony Robinson.
The bombs of the Luftwaffe called SC1000, nicknamed "The Hermann" where the biggest bombs ever to be dropped on the country. The impact of the bombs been dropped is reacreated in the street.
