Patrick Bruce "Pat" Metheny (born August 12, 1954) is an American jazz guitarist and composer.

One of the most successful and critically acclaimed jazz and New Age musicians to come to prominence in the 1970s and '80s, he is the leader of the Pat Metheny Group and is also involved in duets, solo works and other side projects. His style incorporates elements of progressive and contemporary jazz, post-bop, New Age music, latin jazz and jazz fusion. Pat Metheny has three gold albums and 17 Grammy Awards.

"Imaginary Day" was shot live at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California in 1998. Performing 6 songs off the at the time newly released "Imaginary Day" album, the Pat Metheny Group pushes the boundaries of jazz, bringing the viewer on a journey to the deepest parts of the mind and soul. 

Even if your familiar with Pat Metheny, it's still unbelievable. This an outstanding performance by a group of artists. His opening solo just blew away! I've never seen or heard any thing like it, a 4 neck guitar?? This would be so awesome on Blu-ray in DTS Master Audio, I hope they do it soon! This is Sooooo recomended to any Pat Metheny, Jazz or music fan of many tastes that I can't express enough how much you should own this.
