Singer-songwriter, blues, ballads. 

Eindelijk weer eens een Stockfisch opname, dus gegarandeerd goed. Eén van mijn all-time favourite singer-songwriters. 

In the fall of 2023, something happened that was no longer thought possible: David returned to Germany and Europe for an extensive Tour and also made a stop at Günter Pauler's Northeim Recording Studio.

Over ten years have passed since the last Stockfisch Studio Album and now both works contain a total of 24 Songs, each with a playing time of over an hour: There are well-known and popular Munyon Classics that you know from his Concerts and that are finally available to you audiophile recordings, many brand new numbers and also a few Cover Songs that he always pulls out of the hat to everyone's surprise and is able to captivate his listeners - here are Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan paid homage and even P!nk was perfectly “muyonized.

There is so much emotion, gratitude, humility, hope, love and depth in his songs. They tempt you to relax and dream and in the next moment to melancholy pause and think, or sometimes to bob along in a lively way - sometimes they give you pure joy, sometimes they give you comfort, or they give you support. His stories and songs sneak straight into our innermost being and do something to us there.
