Suss grows up in a family where success, power and togetherness is a normality. All eyes in the family are set to their beloved father and Suss is disturbed by her mothers incapabillity to see and love Suss for the person that she is. Suss dreams of becomming a journalist, but can't finnish her studies or work, which makes her families dissapointments even greater.

When Suss second marriage is on the brink of crashing she stands in the crossroads - to follow her heart and start standing up for herself or let her be ruled by her parents.
