Solomon Burke "King of Rock and Soul" live at the North Sea Jazz (2003)

Het North Sea Jazz festival werd weliswaar aangekondigd als een jaarlijks jazz festival, maar dit fantastische optreden van Solomon is er een van zuivere SOUL!!

Grammy Award winnaar Solomon Burke, maakte volgens vele Nederlanders met Don't Give Up On Me hét album van 2002. Nu komt King Solomon Burke terug met een DVD opgenomen tijdens een briljante liveshow op het North Sea Jazz Festival 2003. Kijk en luister hoe het publiek in extase wordt gebracht door deze gigant. Vanf halverweg de show staat het hele podium vol met fans! Grote klasse.

Dit is een ode aan deze onverwacht (en voor vele van ons veel te vroeg) gestorven King of Rock and Soul! Voor mij is dit de mooiste en meest sfeervolle DVD die ik in mijn bezit heb!! Als je hem ziet en beluistert, zul je dat wellicht ook vinden!
