The legal drama series is a spin-off of "The Good Wife" and takes place about a year after that series ended. Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) is pushed out of her law firm when a scam leaves her broke and ruins the reputation of her goddaughter Maia (Rose Leslie). The two women end up joining Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) at a new firm and together they try getting back on their feet.
