The Lembeh Strait off the northern part of the Indonesian island of Sulawesi is a unique hotspot of marine biodiversity countless amazing creatures thrive in the underwater landscape surrounding Lembeh island.

Over four years, a group of wildlife filmmakers captured hundreds of hours of behaviour, much of which has never been shown before on television.

Incredibly, these filmmakers were able to shoot an anglerfish swallowing a lionfish, a scene resembling Godzilla gulping down Dracula. In addition to this, they filmed seahorses, thumb splitting Mantis shrimp and deadly mini octopuses, which are just some of the remarkable creatures that traditional underwater films tend to overlook.

As most of the underwater drama is hidden from plain sight, this documentary uses ground breaking macro photography to reveal the intricate details and true beauty of life.
