Where it all started! This is an "almost" complete collection made from Arlen's first two blockbuster Rounder albums, "Guitarist" and "Hot Pickups." These were released in 1978 and 1979 respectively, and "Guitarist" won the Montreux Critics Award for "Best Instrumental Album" of its year of release, and many of these tracks are still considered true guitar classics! Contains tons of great slide guitar, string bending tunes and other songs that helped establish Arlen as a solo artist in his own right after years of being a legendary sideman! A must for all AR fans!
