Everyone knows the track 'Cafe Del Mar' whether you know it or not. The track was created back in 1993 by trance project Energy 52 and has become one of the world's most famous songs. In 2001, Mximag voted 'Cafe Del Mar' the "Best Track Ever" and in 2011, it was voted the best dance track in the last 20 years by BBC Radio 1 listeners. So when Paul Oakenfold lends his hand at it to try something new and exciting, you know you are in for something special.

When we talked to Paul Oakenfold back in 2013, he told us about an upcoming album he will be releasing that will be covers of some of his favorite tracks of all time. Not remixes, but actually rewriting the song his way, and updating it using the new techniques and tools that producers have at their disposal. Now, we can confirm that 'Cafe Del Mar' will be the first single off of the new album, Trance Mission, set to be released later this year. 

To go along with the release on Perfecto Fluro, Paul Oakenfold has had the likes of Activa, Angry Man, and Peetu S remix his cover of the song. You can get your copy of Paul Oakenfold's 'Cafe Del Mar' when it is released on March 10th.
