Island Life album by Christopher Peacock was released Nov 01, 1995 on the Pure & Simple label. Producer and performer Christopher Peacock presents his latest album, a collection of original compositions for solo piano, interwoven with subtle, island-inspired nature sounds. Island Life music CDs The island theme is perpetuated by the sounds of soothing waves, seagulls, rain, crickets, doves, loons, eagles and the orca whale. Island Life songs These sounds take on the aspects of another instrument, seemlessly adding their part to the overall soundscape. Island Life album Peacock has composed seven melodies rich in texture, yet simple in purity. Island Life CD music Vangelis' celebrated "Hymne" is also included, and Peacock's interpretation is an improvement on the classic original, with its church bell tolling in the distance, further entices us to his sonic sanctuary.
