Barry Sheene has a unique place in the hearts of bike and sports fans the world over. Born in London in 1950, Sheene rose to fame in the 1970's winning the World 500cc Championships in 1976 & 1977 and endowed equally with huge talent and charisma he was a hero to every teenage boy and heart throb to every teenage girl. He broke the world of motor bike racing to the wider public and this film is the definitive account of his life.
Lovingly put together with hours of never before seen archive and home movie footage along with a number of interviews with those who loved, admired and were inspired by Sheene, the documentary traces Sheene's life from childhood, to the heights of his 1970's success, follows his breaks and scrapes through to his death in 2003.
Divided into 2 discs Disc 1 contains the main documentary film and limited extras while Disc 2 is entirely extras including extended interviews, extended home video sequences, photo galleries and much more.
