De westernserie draaide 14 seizoenen. (1959-1973) Er werden in totaal 435 afleveringen gemaakt. Deze rouleren als AVI-bestanden op usenet. Ondertiteling ontbreekt. 

Van seizoen 1 t/m 7 (235 afleveringen) heb ik Engelstalige versies gevonden en daar (per vijf afleveringen in een simpel menuutje) een DVD van gemaakt. Een cover zit er ook bij.
Seizoen 8 t/m 14 (200 afleveringen) is alleen Duits gesproken.

Let op: er is dus GEEN Nederlandse ondertiteling!!!



Season 1, Episode 6: The Julia Bulette Story

Adam and Hoss put their lives and the Cartwright reputation on the line to help Dutch engineer, Philip Diedesheimer, convince greedy silver mine owners and shareholders to use his innovative honeycomb support system to improve mine shaft safety and save miners' lives.

Season 1, Episode 9: Mr. Henry Comstock

In a flashback, the legendary prospector arrives on the Ponderosa and participates in the founding of Virginia City. Coincidentally, guest star Jack Carson played a teller at the Comstock Bank and Trust in the 1942 film, "Gentleman Jim". This early classic was the second episode filmed.

Season 1, Episode 10: The Magnificent Adah

Virginia City is visited by actress Adah Issacs Menken, who happens to be an old acquaintance of Ben's. Joe is badly beaten by Adah's jealous suitor, John C. Regan, who is bested in a fight with an enraged Hoss.
