DJ Maestro, alias Martijn Barkhuis, is bij het grote publiek bekend om zijn met platina onderscheiden serie compilaties Blue Note Trip. 
DJ Maestro is één van ’s werelds bekendste jazz diskjockeys, maar laat zich ook gelden als componist en arrangeur. Zijn unieke kijk op jazz en aanverwante muziekstijlen zijn meermaals succesvol gebleken. 

Voor de liefhebbers van Jazz  zal ik in de komende dagen zo'n 20 CD's (per volume 2 CD's) plaatsen.
