Marina Raye plays heartfelt melodies on her hand-crafted Native American flutes. Guest artist, Dr. Harold Grandstaff Moses provides soulful viola accompaniment and sacred harmonic overtone arrays. Over sixty minutes of blissful music created for peaceful introspection and the healing arts.


The Story of Keepers of the Light
Keepers of the Light features my flutes with guest artist Dr. Harold Grandstaff Moses playing his soulful viola and sacred harmonic overtones. I first heard Harold play at an international trade show in Denver thirteen years ago. I was deeply moved by the depth of emotion he expressed through his beautiful music and knew then that someday he would be the guest artist on one of my CDs.

The flute and viola float on luminous harmonic overtones especially created by Harold to enhance the healing qualities of this music. Harold has stated, "I am honored to create these sacred overtone arrays to match Marina's uniquely expressive flutes. Each Harmonic Droneâ„¢ provides both a firm grounding and a shimmering upward energy allowing our songs to fly between Heaven and Earth."
Keepers of the Light is dedicated in loving memory of two very dear friends: Alan Scherr and his thirteen-year old daughter, Naomi, who were killed by terrorists in Mumbai, India, in November, 2008.

It is my heartfelt wish that Keepers of the Light will serve as an instrument for the healing of humanity. May it inspire and lighten your journey.
