Echte Naam: Conrad Hoyer



2001. In dit jaar Conrad toegetreden Enzyme Records, begonnen met de bouw van zijn eigen studio en begon zijn studeren Music Technology aan de Utrechtse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten.
Hij besloot de Trypticon-project te laten vallen en zich te concentreren op de productie als Ophidian, gericht op langzamere hardcore, met meer techno en elektronische muziek invloeden.
Enzym begon een sub-label genoemd Enzyme X waarop experimenteel hardcore kunnen vrijkomen, die als zegen kwam omdat hiermee precies Conrad ruimte die nodig is om zichzelf en zijn stijl te definiëren.
Vanaf dit moment progressie was snel, en bracht hij een flink aantal tracks, waaronder zijn eerste solo-album, Ophidian - Blackbox, in 2003.
Nu Conrad heeft zijn studie afgerond en als Bachelor of Music Composition and Production hij geconfronteerd met een toekomst in de muziek bussiness, als producent mixen en masteren, als DJ en live performer, maar nog steeds voornamelijk als kunstenaar het verkennen van de meer experimentele gebied van hardcore, techno en elektronische muziek.
Vanaf de zomer van 2005, Ophidian runt zijn eigen label genaamd Meta4.
