Een overeenkomst tussen Soft Cell, Method Actors en Eyeless In Gaza is het feit dat zij alledrie duo?s zijn. Soft Cell is een op melodie georiënteerde synthesizer/ritmebox groep en Method Actors is een op ritme georiënteerde gitaar/drumstel groep. Eyeless In Gaza smeedt beide instrumentatievormen tot een geheel. (Stephen Emmer)
