Intimate interviews with those who lived through the storms and those who lost loved ones reveal how the weather took on a volatile personality in 2012, which made it such an erratic and deadly year.
The UK,s position on our planet forms the battleground for cold and warm weather fronts to collide producing storms. No wonder the weather is a very British obsession. And it is a force that shouldn,t be underestimated.
