Old-school South Park fans know that's what Ned and his hunting buddy, Jimbo, yell when they see an animal they want to shoot -- so they can say it was all in self defense. It's also the basic idea behind Cabela's Dangerous Hunts, a game that attempts to make the classic hunting formula more exciting by adding an element of danger.
Taking down a charging grizzly or mountain lion is definitely more exciting than sneaking up on an unsuspecting deer and gunning it down as it takes its last bite of tasty grass. That gives Dangerous Hunts some added appeal, especially for those who aren't deeply into hunting, but the game ultimately has a lot of the same drawbacks as most hunting games.
The game's main mode is Career Hunt, where you start with a limited amount of money and just a couple of areas open for hunting. You buy a weapon, ammo, and equipment, then try and bring down one or more of the area's big game species. Successful hunts bring in money so you can buy better rifles (or shotguns, or bows) and more useful equipment (a first aid kit and a powerful handgun can help you deal with close encounters).
