Synopsis:

The famous warrior General Guan Yu is dead; he is described as "a wolf with the soul of a man in a world ruled by wolves." 20 years earlier, in conflict with the powerful Cao Cao (WEN JIANG) Guan (DONNIE YEN) leaves the Emperor's court to escort Qi Lan (BETTY SUN) to rival warlord Liu Bei - she is to be his latest concubine. Along the way, the warrior and the girl face a number of challenges and ambushes, which is when Guan's amazing skills in martial arts come to the fore.

Inhoud:

Het antieke China van de Drie Koninkrijken is volledig in beroering. Om het land te verenigen en om rust te brengen, heeft generaal Cao Cao, de werkelijke machthebber achter de keizer, de intentie om Guan Yu, de grootste krijger van het land, in te lijven.
