Henry, een leraar aan meisjesschool in Londen, heeft een affaire met een van zijn studenten, Elizabeth. Tijdens een van hun ontmoetingen ziet ze dat iemand vermoord wordt. De volgende dag wordt het lichaam ontdekt. Het was een student aan dezelfde school. Henry wordt verdacht van de moord. Wanneer Elizabeth vermoord wordt op een aanverwante wijze, wordt Henry vrijgelaten en vergezelt hij de detective om het mysterie rond de moordenaar te ontrafelen.

PLOT OUTLINE:
Several girls are murdered by an elusive "Catholic priest" in a 
residents college. Police and teachers are unable to locate the 
killer, and prevent further deaths. Henry, who has a romantic 
interest in one of the students, Elizabeth, becomes a main 
suspect, but so are other male, and even female teachers. Are the 
girls doing the right thing, telling their suspicions to the 
priest, in the secrecy of confession?

Massimo Dallamano's 1972 great thriller in the Italian Giallo is 
a particularly nice flick, with a very nice and moody score by 
master composer Ennio Morricone. Highly recommended.
