House, M.D. volgt de praktijken van dokter Gregory House, een briljante, maar verbitterde arts. Hij drijft zijn team van jonge dokter tot het uiterste om achter de oorzaken van een patiënt''s ziekte te komen, zet zijn vriendschap met collega Wilson regelmatig op het spel en drijft zijn baas Cuddy tot wanhoop. After a wild night out, a teenage girl is brought to Princeton Plainsboro with severely swollen appendages. The team must work to diagnose the young girl, who is less than honest about what happened the night she fell ill. As her condition worsens, she becomes unable to distinguish fact from fiction. Meanwhile, Cuddy, Wilson and House spend a weekend away from the hospital to attend a medical conference, but things don?t go as planned when House?s private investigator, Lucas returns.
