Series 1, Episode 1

Autumn has arrived with a vengeance. Young swallows, otters and grey seals have to deal with storms and high tides as they move towards independence. Tens of thousands of geese and swans make their way to to the region to pepare for winter only to discover predatory eagles hungry and ready to hunt them. 


Series 1, Episode 2

The islands are hit by the biggest storm in living memory. The cameras follow the lives of white tailed eagles, harbour seals, hares, pine martens and short eared owls as they find it hard to raise their families. 


Series 1, Episode 3

Atlantic salmon have become trapped in the sea pools and unable to move into the river systems. Seabirds attempt to feed up their chicks while avoiding the intentions of predatory skuas with a taste for young puffins.

This week the series takes a look at the people of the Hebrides who live side by side with their wild neighbours.
