Third Watch Seizoen 2

Volg de spannende belevenissen van politie-agenten, brandweermannen en ambulancepersoneel in New York. De drukste tijd van de dag is de zogenaamde ?third watch? ofwel de derde dienst. Deze dienst loopt van drie uur in de middag tot elf uur in de avond en tijdens deze dienst doen zich de meeste ongelukken voor. Het personeel van de hulpdiensten komt regelmatig onder druk te staan en ook het privéleven levert soms nogal wat spanningen op. De serie is bekroond met een Emmy Award. 

17 The Self-Importance of Being Carlos

The loss of a beloved paramedic and the inability to save an elderly couple prompts the department to enroll in a stress debriefing which an increasingly rebellious Carlos (Anthony Ruivivar) views only as a means of dating the beautiful female counselor (guest star Dagmara Dominczyk). However, just when the callous paramedic thinks he's hit pay dirt with his quarry, he's jolted by the order to attend a sensitivity seminar with other hostile city workers -- including Officer Bosco (Jason Wiles). Elsewhere, Firefighter Doherty (Eddie Cibrian) gets a scare from a former lover (guest star Caralyn Kozlowski).

The firefighters take on a rival firehouse for touch football bragging rights; Brooke files for divorce; Jimmy worries that he may be a father again. 

19 Walking Wounded

Faith and Bosco hunt down the dealer who distributed a batch of lethal heroin; depressed over Bobby's death, Kim attempts suicide.
