Peter Wolf hasn't released a single piece of material in eight years and so it was about time that finally, something from the man has been announced and is on its way this year.

The brand new L.P goes by the name of Midnight Souvenirs - his seventh in all - and has been confirmed for release on April 6th via the Verve and UMe labels. It follows on from his critically acclaimed 2002 release Sleepless.

Consisting of fourteen tracks in all, the CD has a few guest-spots too from the likes of Neko Case, Shelby Lynne and Merle Haffard. You can see the artsy artwork up top and the track-listing just below.
