Bear Family Records BFX is een serie van vinyl platen.



This is a nifty little duet collection from Johnny and June Carter Cash. Other than "Jackson," which was a smash single, most of the what's here will seem like new music to the more casual or uninitiated fan. These are some dynamite selections such as "Old Time Feeling," a romper-stomper near-rockabilly read on Ray Charles' "What'd I Say," a great horn-drenched cover of Rodney Crowell's "One Way Rider," and six more. The live reading of "Darlin' Companion" is one of the true Cash family classics. The price is most certainly right, and given that Sony issued this CD, it is a sanctioned release with very good sound.
