Vandaag is er weer een nieuwe update verschenen voor Rogero Manager. Deze is niet zo groot als van 7.9a naar 7.9b, maar is toch wel weer de moeite waard om te updaten.

De nieuwste versie ondersteunt lv2 patch v5. Dit is de meest recente lv2 patch (v6 bevat alleen een ander icoontje, wat niet van toepassing is in een backup manager). Daarnaast is er nog wat optimalisatie gedaan betreft de lv2 patch.

De ontwikkelaar van deze Backup Manager raad aan om de disc en USB apparaten uit de Playstation 3 te halen wanneer je de backup manager wilt gaan starten. Dit om te voorkomen dat hij vast loopt.
