Dit tweede seizoen reizen we tot ver buiten ons eigen zonnestelsel, tijdens een diepgaande exploratie van het universum, op zoek naar haar mysteries. Met hyperrealistische computersimulaties is het net alsof we daadwerkelijk naar de rand van het onbekende
reizen. We bezoeken vreemde onbekende werelden in ?Exoplanets?, bereiden ons voor op het ergste in ?Cosmic Collissions? en ontdekken de geheimen van onze eigen Melkweg. En dat is pas het begin?

Leer wat donkere materie is, en waarom 95% van het universum er uit bestaat. Zit vooraan bij de ultieme lichtshow over ?Supernovas? en... leer niet alleen wat Zwarte Gaten zijn (die alle materie opslokken waar ze mee in aanraking komen), maar maak ook kennis met Witte Gaten ? die materie creëren.

A look at Kuiper belt objects and the moons of the solar system such as volcanic Io, ice covered Europa, and cloud covered Titan; scientists and physicist theorize as to what discoveries could be found there.

Physicists use the latest cutting-edge technology and conduct groundbreaking experiments in an attempt to discover more about these mysterious forces. 

7.Astrobiology:
A look at the science of astrobiology ? the search for life in space by combining the disciplines of astronomy, biology and geology; a look at how life could evolve on planets vastly different than Earth; and a trip to an area in Australia to search for the oldest forms of life on Earth and what it could teach us about life on other worlds. 

8.Space Travel:
A look at some revolutionary ideas about travel in space, from ship designs to innovative methods of propulsion such as solar sails and laser beams. Also a look at antimatter as a power source and the possibilities of faster-than-light travel that could make the greatest science fiction dream a reality.
