Miami wordt overspoeld door illegale gokhuizen onder leiding van de mysterieuze Griek Parapolis (Luciano Catenacci). Luitenant Johnny (Terence Hill) krijgt de opdracht de groep op te rollen. Hij weet echter niets van kaartspelen en heeft hulp nodig. Met een smoes probeert hij de gepensioneerde gokker Charlie Firpo (Bud Spencer), ooit één van de beste pokerspelers van Amerika, te verleiden hem te leren pokeren.
