GLENN HUGHES wordt ook wel de ‘Voice of Rock’ genoemd. Zijn carrière beslaat meer dan vier decennia, hij heeft gespeeld met Tony Iommi van Deep Purple, Trapeze en Black Sabbath, en heeft daarnaast een hoog aangeschreven solo-identiteit opgebouwd.
Voor zijn eerste soloshow in Australië, op 17 juni 2006 in de beroemde locatie The Basement in Sydney, Hughes bracht zijn unieke soort rock-funk naar een nieuw publiek door materiaal van hem op te nemen zijn soloalbums zoals Play Me Out uit 1977 ('I Found A Woman'), naar Soul Mover uit 2005 en zijn nieuwste release Music For The Divine (een gepassioneerde cover van de Moody Blues-klassieker 'Nights In White Satin', 'This Is How I Feel').
Bovendien keert Hughes terug naar zijn legendarische Deep Purple-dagen voor 'This Time Around', 'You Keep On Moving', een verbluffende vertolking van 'Mistreated' en een duet met de gevierde Aussie Rock-frontman Jimmy Barnes op 'Gettin' Tighter'.
